Capturing the shape of light

Design

This was an experiment to explore the shape of time. I tried to capture the shape of light using the cymatics phenomenon.

Inspiration

Coral from the undulating sea surface.

Research

We conducted an experiment to explore what would happen if we could incorporate fluctuations into visual communication by artificially generating fluctuations while observing coral from the surface of the sea. Focusing on the fact that certain frequencies and substances cause Chladni figures, we experimented with combinations of patterns for each frequency and the visual information to be filtered, resulting in this expression.
